Jaguar Mining announced favorable growth exploration drilling results from the Turmalina Gold Mine located in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The results reported were from 10 diamond drill holes from ongoing in-mine exploration targeting shallow, high-grade ore shoots. An integral part of Jaguar Mining’s quality-control program utilized the Gyromaster gyroscopic survey tool. The GyroMaster was able to ensure accurate in-run and out-run surveys to maintain Jaguar Mining’s high level of quality control.
After the Jaguar Mining team completed the comprehensive Stockholm Precision Tools (SPT) gyroscopic survey tool training, they were able to deploy themselves, without requiring external assistance. The SPT training covered maintenance, operating procedures and ensuring that pre/post quality check shots were in line with best practice. Jaguar Mining gained the confidence to use the north seeking GyroMaster borehole surveying instrument independently and this assisted in delivering their great results.
