SPT will have a stand in the booth #701 of the Trade Fair and Community Activities Center Industrial Association of Antofagasta
The International Exhibition of Technologies and Innovations for the Mining and Energy Industry will take place at the ‘Trade Fair and Community Activities Center Industrial Association of Antofagasta‘ from June 13 to 16.
SPT will be at this fair, the most important in the mining sector in Chile, where we will participate as exhibitors. We will have a stand at booth #701, where Alfredo Carballeira, Country Manager for Brazil and Fausto de Souza Sampaio, Operations Engineer for Brazil, will be happy to assist attendees who wish to visit us and learn about our products, news and much more.
SPT will be present at the main event of the Chilean mining industry
This fair is the perfect opportunity for SPT to present its products and novelties to the Chilean market. For example, GyroScout™, the lightest and most versatile tool in the mining industry.
It is 32 mm diameter, weighs an astonishing 2.4 kg, including the pressurizing barrel. Lightness reduces physical effort and operator time and maximizes profits through high precision. This gyro is ideal for measurement in both uphole boreholes and Sublevel Caving operations.
GyroMaster™ is the industry benchmark for gyroscopes. It’s unmatched ability to record data in any orientation offers our customers all the advantages of gyro sensor technology, even when working in boreholes with awkward orientations.
We also added GyroGamma™ to our product range. It is an advanced technology tool which enables natural fromation gamma ray logging in mining exploration. In this way, it can be used to confirm existing deposits and determine mineralization.
It is a breakthrough in an industry that relies heavily on geological correlation and directional accuracy to delineate drill targets.
It can be run in tandem with GyroMaster™. It has a battery life of up to 20 hours, eliminating the need for wireline, saving time and process costs.
Mining accounts for 10% of Chile’s GDP
During the four days of the fair, close to 1,000 exhibitors will be present and a total of 41,000 visitors are expected to enjoy a multitude of activities that will take place in the space.
In addition to the exhibitors, business meetings, seminars, technical delegations, technical talks will be held and approximately 30 countries will participate, while 10 international pavilions will be hosted, with Germany as the guest country.
Chile is one of the most attractive countries in the mining sector; in fact, it is the leader in mineral production and this sector accounts for 10% of Chile’s GDP. It is anticipated that close to US$850 million in deals will be transacted during the show.
The Antofagasta region is widely known for its mining tradition and 54% of the area’s GDP comes from mining, making it the perfect place to hold a mining convention.
