Discoveries Mining Conference 2020
Discoveries Mining Conference, as every year, took place in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. SPT has been a regular participant since our Mexico country office opened.
The regional team, of engineers Saturnino Campoy, Francisco Reyna, and Genaro Damian, attended this event during November 11th-13th. Our full range of gyro survey tools for the mining industry was showcased, highlighting, in particular, the technological advances of the North Seeking solid-state Gyromaster™.
The tradeshows were in full compliance with all health and safety protocols for these types of events.
About Discoveries Mining Conference
Discoveries Mining Conference is widely recognized as one of the most important mining conferences in Latin America due to its technical content and excellent networking opportunities with mining executives. Its mission is to contribute to the responsible and efficient development of the mineral resources sector in Mexico, disseminating valuable information for the mining sector and promoting business opportunities.
On the other hand, the Expomin event took place for the first time virtually, with a platform that allowed exhibitors, companies, and attendees to interact and exhibit their products and services, with an interesting conference program. Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, many of the events in which SPT participates on a regular basis, have been postponed to 2021
Faced with these challenges, Expomin took the decision of organizing a virtual exhibition this year, while the conventional event was rescheduled from April 19th to 23rd, 2021, in the city of Santiago de Chile.
Expomin brought together virtually, from April 9th to 13th, more than 300 exhibitors. Stockholm Precision Tools presented its full range of gyro survey tools and had the opportunity to schedule virtual meetings with important companies in the sector within the Chilean market.
