Stockholm Precision Tools (SPT) will be present at the fifth edition of the Mining and Minerals Hall (MMH), taking place from October 15 to 17, 2024, at the Congress and Exhibition Palace of Seville (FIBES). SPT will exhibit its state-of-the-art trajectory measurement tools in stand 2192 in pavilion 2.
Eric Estrada will participate in the Innovation Hub of pavilion 3 on Tuesday, October 15, at 5:00 PM, as part of the Innovation and Digitalization panel. In his talk, “Today’s Data: Tomorrow’s Mining,” our Global Sales and Marketing Manager will address the future challenges of mining related to data processing through the use of artificial intelligence. Additionally, on Wednesday, October 16, at 12:00 PM in pavilion 1, attendees will have the chance to learn more about SPT’s technological solutions during their commercial presentation.
MMH 2024 is the largest event in southern Europe dedicated to the mining industry, where professionals and companies from around the world gather to explore the latest innovations in exploration, extraction, and processing of mineral raw materials, with SPT highlighting its high-precision technological developments.
Precision trajectory surveying is essential in mining operations, where even small errors can result in significant economic and time losses, as well as environmental impacts. SPT’s GyroMaster™, a true north-aligned solid-state gyroscope, provides continuous and accurate surveys that reduce operating time and costs, improving the results of mining operations and maximising their benefits. It is the only equipment that can accurately survey vertical holes at up to six times the speed of traditional methods.
Also showcased will be the CoreMaster™, a digital geological core orientation tool that adapts to various drilling diameters, allowing for one-click digital data export or cloud synchronization for greater operational efficiency.
Another innovation is the GyroScout™, a compact and versatile tool specifically designed for blast holes. At less than one meter in length and with a diameter of 32 mm, this tool enables high-precision trajectory measurements unaffected by magnetic environments.
Additionally, the Polestar Aligner, a drilling platform alignment tool for both surface and underground operations. This system finds true north in under ten minutes, and its high-latitude mode allows for precise alignment even in areas with more than 60 degrees of latitude.
