Mexico, April 2025. We are pleased to announce SPT’s participation in the XI edition of the Discoveries Mining Conference, to be held April 8-10 at the Mazatlán International Center, Sinaloa, Mexico.
This prestigious event, recognized as one of the most influential in Latin America, provides an ideal platform for professional networking, knowledge sharing and collaboration with industry leaders.
Discoveries brings together more than 2,000 attendees, 50 renowned speakers, and 85 mining companies, establishing itself as a key industry benchmark. Over three days, participants will explore exhibitions, networking spaces, and conferences covering advancements in geology, innovative technologies, and sustainable mining strategies.
One of the most anticipated moments will be the Core Shack, an exclusive space for geologists, investors, and prospectors to showcase rock samples, drill cores, and technical information on mining projects in Mexico.

SPT’s representation at Discoveries will be led by Josué Navarro, Francisco Reyna y Juan Pablo Ortiz Pérez, who will be at booth 146 to present our latest innovations designed to improve the accuracy and efficiency of trajectory measurement in mining operations.
It will be an excellent opportunity to discover our technologies, such as Gyro RigAligner™, which aligns platforms underground and on the surface, locating true north and inclination in a few minutes, and StructMaster™, SPT’s latest solution, officially launched at PDAC 2025 in Toronto.
StructMaster™ represents the next generation in oriented core logging, where for the first time, users can perform angle recalculation at any time from the captured image, eliminating the need for repeated measurements and ensuring accurate results with no margin of error.
This allows geologists to capture, analyze and validate structural data directly on the device without the need for additional hardware. Its intuitive interface and advanced features, such as angle recalculation from the captured image and intelligent labeling, optimize accuracy and efficiency in mineral exploration.

Mining is a key pillar of the Mexican economy, contributing 3% of gross domestic product (GDP). In 2025, the sector offers significant growth opportunities driven by innovation and sustainability.
This year, the Mexican government launched the National Plan 2025, which promotes clean technologies and the restoration of ecosystems affected by mining.
