Potosí, Bolivia, 2025. From October 22 to 25, the 26th Geological Congress of Bolivia will be held. The College of Geologists of Bolivia is organizing the event as part of the national bicentennial celebrations.
This event stands as one of the most important scientific and professional gatherings in geosciences across Latin America, promoting knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and technological innovation as drivers of sustainable development.
The program includes keynote lectures, specialized workshops, symposia, technology exhibitions, and scientific field trips, covering topics such as mineral exploration and exploitation, hydrogeology, geotechnics, paleontology, natural hazards, and advances in geological instrumentation and monitoring.

Stockholm Precision Tools (SPT) will participate in the congress with its full Bolivia division team: Franz Gutiérrez, Alejandra Thompson, Huascar Espinar, Brandon Torrez, Micaela Lima, Nelly Peñarrieta, and Mayda Sánchez, who will welcome visitors at the company’s booth #2.
During this edition, SPT will present StructMaster™ for the first time in Bolivia — a next-generation solution for oriented core structural logging. SPT will also showcase GyroMaster™, will be showcased — the north-seeking gyroscope capable of capturing high-precision data even at depths exceeding 3,500 meters, without requiring an initial azimuth. Also on display will be CoreMaster™, the multi-diameter digital core orienter that records core orientation with exceptional accuracy without interrupting diamond drilling operations.
Structural geology plays a crucial role in understanding mineral systems, and oriented cores are essential for reliably interpreting the geometry of subsurface structures. On October 23 at 11:00 AM, geological engineer César Rubín will deliver a virtual technical presentation on StructMaster™, demonstrating how the tool addresses key challenges in oriented core structural logging. The session will include an overview of SPT’s digital workflow, which connects field data capture with secure, traceable, and cloud-based data management.
This presentation will allow attendees to experience firsthand how StructMaster™ enhances efficiency, precision, and data quality in structural logging during mineral exploration campaigns.
