The GyroMaster™ is one of the most accurate gyroscopes on the market. This north finder takes accurate measurements from all angles, including high latitudes. Unprecedented performance thanks to MTBF up to 1200 (*mean time between failures).
For blast holes and sublevel caving, GyroScout™ is ideal. This reference gyroscope is accurate and lightweight. Weighing only 2.4 kg and 32 mm diameter with built-in pressure barrel, it is fully operational thanks to an MTBF of up to 2000 hours.
More than 10,000 people are expected to attend.
In the last edition held in 2019, this mining event hosted 150 commercial exhibitors, 70 speakers, 900 congress attendees of 17 nationalities and 10,000 registered visitors. Also, as has been the case since 2015, King Felipe VI will be in charge of chairing the Honorary Committee of the congress.
Mining is quite an important sector in the Iberian country as it generates a business of 26,600 million euros and 320,000 direct and indirect jobs in more than 5,000 exploitations that are carried out.
The aim of this congress is to create an international meeting for the mining sector in Europe and to bet on a sustainable, committed and safe mining. The aim is to focus on clean technologies, digitalization and the continuous improvement of extraction, exploration, production and processing of raw materials.
Currently, mining accounts for 40% of the gross value added of the sector in Spain and 27.5% of employment. The Andalusian metal mining industry is particularly dynamic, strong in the western part of the region, with 90% of the national total in gross added value and generating 10,000 direct jobs and 30,000 indirect export jobs.
