- From October 20–22, Stockholm Precision Tools (SPT) will attend MMH 2026 at FIBES in Seville. The team will be at booths 2168 and 2169.
- SPT will showcase technologies for drill rig alignment, trajectory surveying, core orientation, structural logging, and data management as part of a connected exploration ecosystem.
Stockholm Precision Tools (SPT) will attend the sixth edition of the Mining and Minerals Hall (MMH) 2026, taking place October 20–22 at FIBES in Seville. Throughout the three-day event, the SPT team will welcome mining industry professionals at booths 2168 and 2169 to present technologies for mineral exploration and drilling.
MMH has become one of Europe’s leading professional mining events, bringing together companies, institutions, industry specialists, and technology providers to exchange knowledge and discuss the challenges shaping the future of mining.
SPT’s presence will focus on how data generated at different stages of field operations can remain connected and available for review and analysis, from the early stages of drilling through core orientation, structural logging, and digital data management.
Connected data throughout mineral exploration
A mineral exploration program generates information at different stages and through different operations. Initial drill rig alignment, trajectory surveying, core orientation, and structural logging address different requirements, but the data becomes more valuable when it can remain connected and retain the context in which it was acquired.
SPT’s technology approach therefore combines field instrumentation and digital tools around common principles of traceability, QA/QC, and interoperability.
At MMH 2026, visitors will be able to explore solutions including SmartCloud™, StructMaster™, SmartCore™, GyroMaster™ Evo, CoreMaster™, Polestar Aligner™, and DepthMaster™, covering different stages of data acquisition, review, and management throughout the exploration workflow.

SmartCloud™ as a central environment for data management and interoperability.
SmartCloud™ and Open REST API: data beyond the instrument
SmartCloud™ is the digital core of the SPT ecosystem. The platform brings together information generated by different SPT solutions in a single environment, supporting data access, traceability, and QA/QC processes.
The Open REST API extends these capabilities toward interoperability by allowing authorized external systems to access structured data within its supported scope. This enables SPT data to continue into other platforms used by technical teams without relying solely on manual transfers.
The goal is for data acquired in the field to remain available beyond the instrument that generated it and continue supporting subsequent stages of the project.
StructMaster™: digital structural logging with reviewable data
StructMaster™ digitizes structural logging from oriented core and allows geologists to work directly with core images.
The solution enables users to identify and measure structures, calculate alpha, beta, and gamma angles, and keep measurements linked to their corresponding visual evidence. This allows geological teams to revisit records, review measurements, and retain the context needed for interpretation.
StructMaster™ data can be synchronized with SmartCloud™, bringing structural information into the same environment used to manage other project data.

StructMaster™ allows geologists to capture structural data directly from oriented drill core, helping preserve context throughout the exploration workflow.
SmartCore™, CoreMaster™, and GyroMaster™ Evo: data from drilling operations
Core orientation provides the reference needed to relate observed structures to their original position.
SmartCore™ integrates digital core orientation into the inner tube assembly and allows field data to be transferred for subsequent management within the SPT ecosystem. CoreMaster™ provides a multi-diameter digital core orientation solution for use across different drilling configurations.
For trajectory surveying, GyroMaster™ Evo features a single-body design with direct-to-overshot connection. In configurations using CoreRetriever™, surveying can be carried out during the core retrieval cycle, combining both operations in a single run.
Together, these technologies provide data at different stages of drilling and keep it available for subsequent geological work.
Polestar Aligner™ and DepthMaster™: references from the start of drilling
The SPT booth will also feature technologies used during the early stages of drilling operations.
Polestar Aligner™ is designed for drill rig alignment, providing azimuth and inclination references before drilling begins.
DepthMaster™ provides a digital depth reference during surveying operations.
Together, these solutions complete the range of technologies SPT will present in Seville, from initial field references to subsequent data management and review.

An Event to Celebrate 30 Years of SPT
On October 20, at the end of the first day of MMH, SPT will host SPT’s 30th Anniversary – Together Since 1996, a Customer Appreciation Sundowner to mark the company’s 30th anniversary.
Featuring live music, tapas, wine, and drinks, this will be an informal gathering for customers, partners, and industry professionals, designed to continue the day’s discussions and share a moment with the SPT team outside the usual fair activities.
Attendance is by invitation only. If you’d like to join us, please contact your SPT sales representative to request an invitation and check the event page for all the details.
See you at MMH 2026
From October 20–22, the SPT team will be at booths 2168 and 2169 to present these technologies and discuss how they can be applied to mineral exploration and drilling projects.
