Nevada, November 2024. From December 4 to 6, Stockholm Precision Tools (SPT) will attend the Annual Meeting and Exposition of the American Exploration & Mining Association (AEMA), a highly regarded event recognized as the oldest and second most important in the US mining industry.
With strategically located offices in the US, including one in Nevada, SPT provides direct support to its customers without intermediaries, giving immediate access to advanced trajectory surveying and alignment technologies. These tools are world-renowned for their accuracy and reliability, significantly improving mining operations worldwide.
Representing SPT, Johnnie Noble, Trevor Greener and Eric Estada will be on hand at booth 647 in the exhibition hall to meet with attendees and showcasing market-leading tools such as GyroMaster™, GyroCore Lite™ and Polestar Aligner™.
SPT Innovations at AEMA 2024
Among the featured technologies is the GyroMaster™, a solid-state north-seeking gyroscope known for its speed, durability, and ease of use. Designed for continuous surveying at any orientation, it ensures unmatched precision even at high latitudes, excelling in challenging conditions.
The Polestar Aligner™ will also be exhibited. With advanced inertial navigation, this versatile drill aligner delivers precise alignments for both surface and underground operations, ensuring consistent and reliable results.
“SPT’s portfolio of high precision directional survey tools is remarkable. Every tool provides the industry with cutting edge precision technology. This technology optimizes safety and productivity for mining and exploration clients, ensuring they navigate to their target zones accurately and efficiently. We are proud to also offer our industry leading 24/7 technical support for all projects, small or large. Come for the accuracy, stay for the service.” comments Johnnie Noble, Business Development Manager for SPT in the United States.
As part of its participation, SPT invites attendees to join the “Polestar Aligner Challenge”, an interactive contest that tests mining and trajectory surveying knowledge. The winner will receive an iPhone 16 and a 30-day free trial of our aligner.
How it Works:
• The Polestar Aligner, our cutting-edge drill rig alignment tool, will be rotated to a random position.
• Once it stops, participants will have the chance to estimate and declare an approximate azimuth for the position.
• The closest estimate win!
Full rules and information will be explained at our booth during the event.
Shaping the future of mining
The convention will be held at the Nugget Casino Resort in Sparks, Nevada, and will celebrate the Association’s 130th anniversary under the theme: “Mining: Celebrating 130 Years and Forging the Future with Mining Mettle”.
AEMA 2024 will feature technical sessions, conferences, and networking opportunities aimed at fostering the exchange of ideas, technological advancements, and sustainable initiatives to drive innovation in mining.
SPT’s presence at this event underscores its commitment to developing cutting-edge technologies for the global mining industry, ensuring precision, quality, and efficiency in all operations, while contributing to a safer and more sustainable future for mining.
