The company will demonstrate how its field instruments capture exploration data and connect it to SmartCloud™, where information can be centralized, correlated, and managed with full traceability, quality control, and integration with third-party platforms.
- For the first time at EXPOSIBRAM, SPT will introduce SmartCore™, designed to simplify digital core orientation, and GyroMaster™ Evo, the latest evolution of its directional survey technology.
- StructMaster™ will demonstrate how image-based structural logging helps reduce manual calculations, improve data consistency, and simplify data review.
- SmartCloud™ will connect data generated during drill rig alignment, borehole surveying, core orientation, and structural logging through an open architecture and its Open API.

During EXPOSIBRAM, the SPT team will conduct live technical demonstrations showcasing how its solutions improve geological data acquisition and management.
Belo Horizonte, Brazil — Stockholm Precision Tools (SPT) will participate in EXPOSIBRAM 2026, one of Latin America’s leading mining industry events, taking place August 24–27 at EXPOMINAS in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
Throughout the event, the SPT Brazil team will welcome mining professionals at booths M10 and M11, where the company will showcase its solutions for drill rig alignment, borehole surveying, core orientation, and digital structural logging.
SPT’s participation will focus on a single objective: demonstrating how data generated throughout every stage of the exploration process can remain connected—from field acquisition to geological interpretation and decision-making.
As part of this year’s event, SPT will introduce SmartCore™ and GyroMaster™ Evo at EXPOSIBRAM for the first time, highlighting the latest additions to its mining exploration portfolio. Together with StructMaster™, these solutions reflect the continued evolution of SPT’s portfolio toward an increasingly connected exploration workflow.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore SPT solutions through live technical demonstrations at EXPOSIBRAM.
From Field Data Capture to Connected and Verifiable Information
Mining exploration generates information at multiple stages-from initial drill rig alignment and borehole surveying to core orientation and structural logging.
While each operation produces valuable information on its own, its true value is realized when all data remains connected, retains its context, and is available for review throughout the life of the project.
SPT’s ecosystem brings these stages together into a single digital workflow. Its instruments capture data directly in the field and transfer it to SmartCloud™, where it can be centralized, correlated, validated, and managed through quality control processes.
The platform preserves traceability and chain of custody for every record and, through its Open API, allows authorized information to be shared with geological platforms, mine planning software, and other specialized applications. As a result, exploration data remains connected throughout the project lifecycle, reducing reliance on manual processes and disconnected systems.

The SPT team will discuss practical applications and answer technical questions on core orientation and geological data digitalization.
Featured Technologies at EXPOSIBRAM 2026
One of the key technologies on display will be StructMaster™, SPT’s digital structural logging solution for oriented drill core. Using an image-based workflow, it enables geologists to record geological structures and calculate orientation parameters while improving data consistency and simplifying review before information is incorporated into geological interpretation.
GyroMaster™ Evo will make its EXPOSIBRAM debut alongside Core Retriever™, the accessory that enables directional surveys to be integrated into the normal core retrieval process through the Gyro While Coring concept. This combination provides more frequent borehole trajectory information while reducing the need for dedicated survey runs.
SPT will also introduce SmartCore™ at EXPOSIBRAM for the first time. This new digital core orientation tool installs directly into the inner tube head assembly, reducing handling during core recovery while automating data transfer to the field device and SmartCloud™.
The portfolio is complemented by CoreMaster™ for core orientation and Polestar Aligner™ for drill rig alignment. Together, these technologies support every stage of the exploration workflow, from drill setup through digital data management.

Hands-on demonstrations will allow visitors to experience StructMaster™ firsthand.
