SPT will present new launches to the Ecuadorian market
We will be presenting GyroGamma™ – a new tool with the capability to measure natural formation gamma rays for lithological determination and geological correlation between boreholes.
GyroGamma™ can run in tandem with GyroMaster™ gyro surveys, giving a gamma log while simultaneously mapping spatial coordinates .
GyroMaster™, the reference gyroscope for mining, is incredibly accurate and records dip and azimuth data points in any borehole orientation.
Another major innovation is GyroScout™. It is a solid state gyroscope that is an incredibly lightweight, rugged and accurate survey tool. It features a 32mm integrated pressure barrel and weighs only 2.4 kg. This simplifies and eases the work of the driller considerably.
Expomina’s goal is to achieve biodiversity-friendly and sustainable mining
In Ecuador there are approximately a dozen large-scale mining projects, however, there are others that have great potential, although they are not so visible.
This means that the mining sector is of great importance to the country; in fact, the exports derived from this activity represent approximately 176,365 million USD over the next three decades.
So much so, that in the next 4 years the direct employment generated by this sector will be more than 215,000 jobs.
This puts mining in a situation of utmost importance for the country – working with high precision and quality tools such as those offered by SPT provides miners with the most accurate picture of their assets and should be a sensible choice for mining projects in the country.
