SPT at Drillfest – Optimise your operations thanks to its innovations
The GyroMaster™ is an instrument used in mineral exploration to measure the trajectory of vertical boreholes accurately and continuously.
It incorporates Navibore™ solid-state continuous gyro technology, which combined with our intuitive operating software delivers the most accurate data in the industry. As a result, it is the only gyro recommended for operation at high latitudes.
In addition, it is considered the most agile and accurate true north finder in the industry, as it is capable of high-speed measurements without stopping, reducing operation downtime by more than 3.5 hours.
Gyro RigAligner™ is a device that allows rigs to be precisely aligned in less than 5 minutes.
Gyro RigAligner with intuitive user interface for maximum usability.
It is designed for permanent use, thanks to its rechargeable battery that lasts up to 10 hours.
By aligning drilling rigs in record time, it saves costs and reduces downtime.
Mining in Australia
Mining is a major industry in Australia, contributing approximately 10.4% of GDP.
Some of the country’s most important mineral resources include gold, iron, coal, nickel and lithium.
Australia’s gold production reached an all-time high of 325 tonnes in 2019, according to mining consultancy Surbiton Associates. In addition, more than 40,000 workers are expected to be attracted over the next two years due to projects in Western Australia’s resources sector.
The Pilbara region, one of the most resource-rich areas of the state, is home to some of the largest mines in the region, such as Pilgangoora, which has dethroned Greenbushes to become the world’s largest hard-rock lithium mine.
The country’s rich geography offers unprecedented opportunities for the exploration and exploitation of natural resources. As such, SPT’s presence in Australia contributes to the technological and sustainable development of the local industry.
