At Argentina Mining 2026, SPT will demonstrate how its solutions can capture, connect, and manage information generated throughout an exploration program through a workflow that brings together downhole surveying, core orientation, structural logging, and digital data management.
- SPT will provide demonstrations of GyroMaster™ Evo with Core Retriever™ , SmartCore™, and StructMaster.
- SmartCloud™ will show how information generated at each stage of an exploration program can be centralized, validated, and connected.
- The SPT Argentina team will welcome visitors at Booth F502 during the 19th International Convention on Business Opportunities in Exploration, Geology and Mining.
Salta, Argentina – Stockholm Precision Tools (SPT) will participate in Argentina Mining 2026, an international convention focused on exploration, geology, and mining, taking place September 2–4 in Salta, Argentina.
Throughout the three-day event, the SPT Argentina team, including Agustina Mercado, Agostina Agüero, and Pablo Alegre, will meet with customers, partners, and industry professionals at Booth F502, where they will present solutions designed to improve how data generated during an exploration program is captured, managed, and used.

The continued digitalization of mineral exploration is changing how companies manage information collected in the field. Beyond the accuracy of individual measurements, having organized, traceable data that is ready for analysis has become increasingly important for supporting faster and more informed decision-making. At Argentina Mining, SPT will demonstrate how its solutions address this challenge.
“Today, the challenge is no longer only to obtain accurate measurements, but also to keep the information generated throughout exploration connected, easy to review, and traceable. At Argentina Mining, we will show how our solutions support that objective within a single digital ecosystem,” said Agustina Mercado, Country Manager of SPT Argentina.
Traceability as Part of the Exploration Workflow

Jose Donoso, SPT Technical Manager, discussing oriented core and digital structural logging workflows with an industry professional.
Every exploration project generates large volumes of information from different activities, including drill rig alignment, borehole trajectory surveying, core orientation, structural logging, and the subsequent interpretation of results.
When these data remain isolated or are transferred manually between different tools, the risk of inconsistencies increases and reviewing their origin becomes more difficult.
At Argentina Mining, SPT will demonstrate how its solutions can connect these stages within a digital workflow. SPT instruments capture information directly during field operations and send it to SmartCloud™, where the data can be organized, associated with the corresponding drill hole, and prepared for QA/QC processes. Through its open architecture, supported data can also be shared with other platforms used by exploration teams while preserving the context and traceability of each record.
The result is a more consistent approach to data management in which each measurement retains its context and remains available for analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
Solutions at Booth F502
Visitors to Booth F502 will be able to see several solutions from the SPT technology ecosystem in operation.

GyroMaster Evo with CoreRetriever
SPT will demonstrate its directional surveying system using gyro-while-coring technology, which enables borehole trajectory data to be collected during core retrieval, bringing both operations into the same drilling cycle.
This approach can help increase the frequency of downhole surveys without requiring dedicated survey runs, supporting a more efficient operational workflow while reducing additional instrument handling.
SmartCore
The new SmartCore provides a more automated approach to digital core orientation.
Installed directly in the head assembly of the inner tube, the system simplifies the surface orientation process by automatically transferring data to the handheld device. This reduces operational steps while keeping the information in digital format for subsequent management.
StructMaster

Another technology featured at the event will be StructMaster™ , SPT’s solution for digital structural logging of oriented core.
Using image-based measurement, StructMaster enables geological structures to be recorded, automatically calculates parameters such as alpha, beta, and gamma, and retains each measurement together with its visual evidence. This supports subsequent review, recalculation, and auditing when required.
Integration with SmartCloud™ allows structural data to remain connected to the broader project record.
SmartCloud™ as the Foundation for Digital Project Data Management
In addition to instrument demonstrations, SPT will present the capabilities of SmartCloud™ as a platform for managing exploration data.
SmartCloud can centralize information generated by different tools, maintain a verifiable history for each record, manage permissions, support QA/QC processes, and enable supported data exchange with other platforms through an open architecture.
This gives exploration teams a centralized source of organized information that can support the project from the first field measurements through the development of the geological model.
