SPT presents its major releases such as GyroGamma™, SmartCloud™ or the GyroScout™
GyroGamma™ is an advanced and cutting-edge technology that enables lithological correlation. In combination with GyroMaster™ it brings all the accuracy of a gyro while logging a natural gamma curve.
It is an operational breakthrough in an industry that relies heavily on geological correlation and borehole surveys to identify and locate drilling targets.
It is also battery powered with up to 20 hours battery life , which eliminates the need for wireline, saving time and operational costs.
GyroMaster™ is the industry benchmark for gyroscopic boehole surveying. Its unmatched ability to record data at any orientation allows GyroMaster™ to give you all the advantages of gyro sensor technology, even when working with complex borehole trajectories.
Another major technological innovation from SPT is the GyroScout™, the lightest and most versatile gyro survey tool in the mining industry.
At just over 32 mm and weighing an impressive 2.4 kg including the pressure barrel, this gyro saves miners physical effort while maximizing profits through rapid, precision surveying. This gyro is optimal for uphole borehole surveys and Sublevel Caving operations.
These gyro tools give mining professionals more options in their arsenal of tools by ensuring accurate surveys in all scenarios.
More than 25,000 attend PDAC annually
The PDAC convention attracts some 25,000 people annually from around the world to an event that takes place in Toronto.
The space concentrates exhibits, expert presentations, round tables, panel discussions, workshops and product demonstrations.
With more than 25,000 participants from over 100 countries, PDAC is by far the world’s largest mining exhibition. In fact, Canada is one of the world’s leading mining powers, being one of the largest producers of certain minerals such as zinc, nickel, gold, potash, lead, uranium and aluminum.
Around 700 exhibitors gather at this information-packed event. More than two-thirds of all exhibitors work for mine operators in every country, making the space an unparalleled opportunity to discover what’s happening in the industry globally.
The PDAC association is the leading voice of the mineral exploration and development community, an industry that directly and indirectly employs 719,000 people and contributes $106 billion to Canada’s GDP each year.
Representing more than 4,400 members worldwide, PDAC’s work focuses on supporting a competitive, responsible and sustainable mining sector.
The association also works with governments and global partners to raise awareness of the important role minerals play in modern life.
PDAC stated that, to protect the health and safety of attendees, it will follow all safety measures put in place by federal and local authorities for the duration of the COVID pandemic.
