Malaga, Spain, October 26, 2023 – In light of the recent adversities caused by Hurricane Otis on October 25, Stockholm Precision Tools AB (SPT), expresses its most sincere solidarity with the colleagues of SPT Mexico, as well as with all the affected communities.
Our long association with Mexico, nurtured over the years by supplying directional survey tools to the mining industry, has fostered a deep bond between SPT and the Mexican community.
The news of Hurricane Otis passing along the coast, especially at a time when our colleagues from SPT Mexico offices were participating in the XXXV International Mining Convention Mexico 2023, saddens us deeply.
We are relieved to report that, according to the latest information received from one of SPT’s members in the country, our colleagues are safe.
We are gathering more information to ensure the well-being of all associated personnel and to better understand the scope of the situation.
The devastation caused by Hurricane Otis is heartbreaking, and our thoughts are with the people and communities affected.
