- Real interoperability with SmartCloud™ and Open REST API, enabling direct integration of field data with platforms such as CorePlan.
- GyroMaster™ Evo and SmartCore™ support continuous acquisition of directional and geological data without interrupting drilling operations.
- StructMaster™ digitizes structural logging with visual traceability, allowing angle verification and recalculation at any stage.
Stockholm Precision Tools (SPT) will participate in EXPOMINAS 2026, taking place May 6 to 8 at the Metropolitan Convention Center in Quito. At booth 133, the team will present how field data acquisition can be integrated into a continuous, structured, and reliable digital workflow.
At this event, SPT will showcase its approach to a connected data ecosystem, where field measurements are not only accurate but also structured, validated, and transferred directly into client systems. Through SmartCloud™ and its Open REST API, drilling and geological data move from the drillhole to interpretation and data management platforms without manual handling or reprocessing.
In mineral exploration, the challenge is not limited to acquiring accurate data. The key is ensuring that this data can be used immediately and consistently across the workflow. When datasets are fragmented or require manual intervention, operational time increases and data integrity is compromised. SPT addresses this through an interoperability-driven approach, where data is integrated at the point of capture.
SPT is already integrated with platforms such as CorePlan and continues to expand connectivity with other solutions within the mining technology ecosystem. This enables directional surveys, core orientation data, and structural measurements to be delivered in a ready-to-use format, preserving QA/QC, traceability, and consistency throughout the entire data chain.

SPT Solutions at EXPOMINAS 2026
At booth 133, the SPT Ecuador team, including Alexandre Abascal Ferro, Nelson Utreras, Cesar Rubin Villarreal, Alexia Amaya, and Carlos Valdivia, will be available to discuss how these technologies fit into real drilling and geological workflows.
GyroMaster™ Evo enables continuous directional surveying while retrieving the core in a single run. By aligning with true north and eliminating magnetic interference, it provides high-accuracy, verifiable measurements suitable for demanding drilling environments.
SmartCore™ streamlines core orientation at the rig. It delivers near-instant orientation data upon core recovery, reducing non-productive time and eliminating additional handling steps, while ensuring reliable orientation marks for geological interpretation.
StructMaster™ allows geologists to capture structural data directly from core images, with the ability to calculate, verify, and recalculate alpha and beta angles at any time. Each measurement is linked to visual evidence, improving auditability, reducing human error, and strengthening confidence in structural interpretation.
These solutions are designed to operate as part of a unified digital ecosystem. Data generated at each stage remains connected, contextualized, and available for downstream use, from drilling operations to geological modeling.
