Discover SPT’s latest directional surveying technology at Geological Open House
Geological Open House is the premier annual meeting place for mining and exploration companies in Saskatchewan, Canada. This year it will be held November 27-29 at the Delta Bessborough Hotel in Saskatoon, and will be attended by over 700 local, national and international participants.
The program describes the geoscience activities of the Saskatchewan Geological Survey and provides a platform for industry representatives to make presentations on their exploration activities in the region. These include Laurentian University’s Metallic Earths Program and the Saskatchewan Mining Association‘s Construction Ice Safety course.
The event features a robust technical program that includes talks from academia and industry, highlighting various exploration projects, development and advances in exploration techniques.
Objectives of the Geological Open House
The objective of the Geological Open House is to profile high quality geoscience in support of Saskatchewan’s mining industry while promoting earth science to the general public.
An open house will also take place, giving industry representatives the opportunity to make presentations on their exploration and development activities. It will include a trade exhibition and short courses that will provide a comprehensive overview of the latest developments and opportunities in the field of geosciences and mineral exploration.
This event not only acts as a valuable platform, but also represents a unique opportunity for the Ministry of Energy and Resources to showcase its current and future initiatives in the field of mineral resources. It is also an ideal setting for industry professionals to familiarize themselves with the latest geoscientific findings, effectively integrating them into the planning and development of their upcoming exploration programs.
