- Continuous directional surveying, core orientation, and structural logging integrated into a single workflow, eliminating multiple runs and manual data reconciliation.
- Direct data transfer from field to client platforms via SmartCloud™ and Open REST API, ensuring data integrity and eliminating manual handling.
Stockholm Precision Tools (SPT) will participate in Euro Mine Expo 2026, taking place May 26–28 in Skellefteå, Sweden. As event sponsors, we will be present at Booth 167 alongside our partner Levanto Finland Oy, showcasing technologies designed to optimize how drilling and geological data is captured, validated, and integrated across the exploration workflow.
SPT will be represented by Alfredo Serrano, together with Levanto Finland Oy partners Felix Smeds, Ilkka Eskola, and Björn Wikström. Geoff Burtner (OTS) will also join us to deliver a technical session focused on the future of geological data management.

Connected Data Ecosystem: From Field Capture to Integration
At Euro Mine Expo, SPT will present its approach to a connected data ecosystem, where field measurements are not only accurate, but also structured, validated, and immediately usable, ensuring consistency and traceability. Through SmartCloud™ and its Open REST API, drilling and geological data flows directly from the drillhole into client interpretation and data management platforms without manual handling or reprocessing.
In mineral exploration, the challenge is no longer limited to acquiring accurate data. The real value lies in how efficiently that data can be integrated into decision-making workflows. Fragmented datasets and manual intervention introduce delays and increase the risk of errors. SPT addresses this through an interoperability-driven approach, where data is integrated at the point of capture and remains available throughout the exploration workflow.
SPT is already integrated with platforms such as CorePlan and continues to expand connectivity across the mining technology ecosystem, enabling seamless data flow between field operations and downstream analysis.

Field-Proven Technologies for Continuous and Verifiable Data
At Booth 167, SPT will present a set of technologies designed to operate under real drilling conditions while ensuring continuity, accuracy, and traceability.
- GyroMaster™ Evo enables continuous directional surveying while retrieving the core in a single run, delivering high-accuracy measurements aligned to true north and unaffected by magnetic interference.
- Polestar Aligner™ ensures precise rig alignment from the start, reducing cumulative deviation and improving confidence in the drilling trajectory.
- SmartCore™ streamlines core orientation directly at the rig, providing near-instant orientation data upon recovery while minimizing non-productive time.
- StructMaster™ complements this workflow by digitizing structural logging through core images, allowing geologists to calculate, verify, and recalculate structural angles at any stage, with full visual traceability linked to each measurement.
Together, these technologies operate within a unified digital ecosystem where data remains connected, contextualized, and immediately usable across all stages of the exploration process.

Technical Session: The Data-cene and the Future of Geological Data
On May 27 at 16:20, Geoff Burtner (OTS) will present “Welcome to the Data-cene: Building Next-Generation Geological Data Architectures for the Era of Advanced Analysis.”
In modern exploration, the most valuable asset is no longer the mineral deposit itself, but the dataset that defines it. This session introduces the concept of the “Data-cene,” a new phase in geological data management designed for machine learning and advanced analysis.
The presentation will explore how companies can future-proof their projects by adopting open, interoperable, and traceable data architectures, avoiding closed systems that limit integration and scalability. It will also demonstrate how traceability and validation transform field measurements into high-value strategic assets, ready to support investment decisions, acquisitions, or joint venture partnerships.

Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how to structure data frameworks that reduce uncertainty, support advanced analysis, and align with modern exploration demands, as well as how SPT technologies integrate into this approach.
