Stockholm Precision Tools (SPT) will participate in the 2026 Alaska Miners Association Annual Convention & Trade Show, held November 2–5 at the Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

Organized by the Alaska Miners Association, the event brings together mining companies, exploration professionals, drilling contractors, equipment suppliers, and industry representatives to discuss mineral development, technical challenges, and ongoing projects across the state.
SPT will exhibit at Booths 75 and 76 during the trade show on November 3–5, presenting technologies designed to support data acquisition at different stages of mineral exploration.
SPT Technologies for Mineral Exploration and Drilling
Geological interpretation depends on measurements collected throughout drilling and exploration, from the initial alignment of the drill rig to the analysis of recovered core.
At the convention, SPT will showcase four technologies addressing these measurement requirements.

GyroMaster™ is a north-seeking gyroscopic surveying tool designed to measure borehole trajectory, including azimuth and inclination. Its technology operates independently of magnetic references, making it relevant for surveying applications where magnetic interference is a consideration.
Polestar Aligner™ supports drill rig alignment before drilling begins, providing orientation measurements for setting up the drilling equipment according to the planned direction.
SmartCore™ is a digital core orientation system integrated into the inner tube head assembly. It supports the collection of orientation references used to establish the original position of recovered core.
StructMaster™ supports digital structural logging, allowing geologists to record and review structural measurements alongside their corresponding visual context.
Together, these technologies address different stages of field measurement and geological data collection, where consistency and traceability are important for subsequent technical review.

Beyond the field instruments presented at the convention, SmartCloud™ provides a digital environment for managing data from compatible SPT technologies. The platform supports data traceability, technical review, and quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC). Its Open REST API also enables authorized external systems to access supported structured survey and trajectory data, extending the possibilities for interoperability across mineral exploration workflows.
Connecting with Alaska’s Mining and Exploration Industry
The convention provides an opportunity to discuss the measurement requirements of exploration projects and the practical challenges encountered in drilling operations.
SPT’s participation will focus on applications involving borehole trajectory measurements, core orientation, structural data collection, and drill rig alignment.
Visitors will have the opportunity to discuss their existing field workflows and learn more about the technologies available for each application.
Meet SPT USA at Booths 75 and 76
SPT will be represented by Johnnie Noble, Regional Director – North America; Chris Perez, Operations Manager; and Zade Elton, Field Engineer.

The team will be available during the trade show to meet mining and exploration professionals, answer questions about SPT technologies, and discuss specific project requirements.
